I know I haven't updated in a bit. Things have been pretty boring. Same thing, different day.

I have been looking for a new job though. It is really scary because it is not that I hate my job or anything like that. I am frustrated with the company and I need something that pays more. Plus, it would be nice to not have to work shift work for a change. I really want something that has room for advancement, which, as it turns out, my current job probably will never have. Oh well. I'd hate to take something else and get into a situation that I regret though. Oh, it is these big decisions that keep me up at night. It is not like there is something else on the table right now, so I have time to think about things. I am just keeping my options open.

Here is some news. We may be dog sitting another dog for a year. Paul's friend's sister is teaching English in Korea for a year and needs a sitter for her collie/sheppard cross. We are going to have a play date soon to see what Daisy thinks of her and go from there. Daisy is alone usually 3-8 hours a day, except for our days off, so I wonder sometimes if she is lonely. We have been toying with the idea of getting another dog, so this would be a nice trial run. A year though, is a long time for a trial run. I don't know. I've got a lot of questions that would need to be answered first. We will see how it all pans out in the end. You never know.

The poor dog will probably miss her owner terribly and then to have to go to a new home....it would be hard on her. At least she would be well cared for if she was with us. God, sometimes I think we treat Daisy better than some people treat their children. I will try to remember to bring the camera for the first doggy date. I know no one really cares, but hey, it's my thing.

Paul and I have been discussing our laziness with finishing the renovations. Now that the weather is getting nicer, it is time to start planning the outside work. The inside is a whole other story. I am so sick of painting, it is not even funny. I think I will start on my days off this week. Some rooms are so close to being finished, it is a sin not to finish it off and get to enjoy it. Paul says he wants to wait until the fall to do all the work. I told him I want it done before summer comes so I won't spend my summer indoors painting. Plus, I may be pregnant by fall and won't be able to do anything then. The part I hate most in the prep and clean up afterwards. It seems to take more then the actual job itself.

I will post some pics as we finish things off. Too bad we didn't take before pics before we did any work. That would have been awsome to see the difference. It was a real dump when we bought it. It will never be a palace or anything, we are just striving for inhabital right now.

Yes let's get the baby factory under way! It's time to finish up some projects so you can put all your attention into a nursery when the time comes...soon right?
