This is all about a Day in the Life of Daisy. Daisy is our puppy and we love her oodles. We are the Melvin family and here you will find little bits and pieces of our lives - plus hundreds of Daisy photos, of course!

I enjoyed looking at all the old pics on the other blogs that I decided to post a few of my own.
It is funny how I had this idea of Joe in my head (top pic) for years after I saw this picture until I seen him again when he came to visit the last time. Then to see this big guy with muscles, tatts and a bald head, I was so surprised!!! It was not what I was expecting at all!
He looks so meek and a quiet type of person in this picture, then I met him and he was so forward and friendly with so much personality. I was really just shocked. Now, Berta was just as I pictured her in my head.
I guess it just proves you really can't tell what someone is like just by a photo.

Oh my god! You know if I try hard enough sometimes I forget that I was an overweight teen and just focus on the afteryears when I finally grew a bit taller and then had a figure to die for...and then I had a couple of 10 pound babies and that's the end of that...
Thanks for posting the pictures though, Mom and Dad are here and we all had a good chuckle over them. Have a good weekend!
Les, I guess you must have lost the weight pretty fast, because all of the other pics of you I've seen from your teens you were thin as a rake.
I was doing real good on my diet all week, salads and slim fast, but right now (as I type) I am having coffee and doghnuts from Tim's. Oh well. I eat when I am depressed, so I gave in today. Hopefully tomorrow I will get back up on the horse.
Joe, I am guilty of the skinny clothes stashed in the closet to. I don't keep them for quite as long, but I think I have an entire wardrobe of each size 9 through 20.
Glad you enjoyed the pics guys. Enjoy the weekend!
What does Paul do for a living? Not sure how that came up last night but it did?!? As well as our desperate need for some two-step practise so there we were dancing around my living room with Mom and Dad. LOL!
Paul works for a division of the local telephone company. He does website support, fixes problems etc.
